Mürren: Magical, picturesque, special - enough said. First time visiting Mürren, I was shocked at how much it resembled the Switzerland I saw in movies. Hiking in mid-June, you’re trekking through wildflower fields grazed by the happiest cows and bulls you’ve seen in your life. Reaching the peak of your hike, the terrain transitions to snow caps, providing a different perspective of all the mountains have to offer. In between your journeys, stop at a hut for a beer and Rösti or purchase local cheese found in bins along your trail, solely relying on the honor system.
